Canvas Prints & Stretching on 1.5" Bars
Material we use
- We utilize one of the best archival-quality canvas available in the market for canvas printing
- We use Epson Exhibition Canvas
- Natural Gloss
- It is a poly-cotton blend canvas
- This unique heavyweight quality canvas utilizes a tight weave is 388 gsm, 18.5-mil
- Gloss finish weave 2 over 1.
Enables us to achieve
- High DMax and colour gamut for prints that require stunning
- Museum-grade image quality and durability, without the use of Optical Brighteners (OBA).
- It is specially coated to produce vibrant colours as well as rich, deep blacks and tonal gradations.
As for the wooden stretcher
- We use Kiln-dried Pinewood and basswood available in three sizes ¾”, 1” and 1 ½”. The ¾” is preferable if you would like to have the canvas print framed in a floater frame.
All gallery wrapped canvas comes with
- Dust cover backing to protect the back of the canvas and to prevent dust and other materials from getting stuck between the stretcher bar and the canvas print
- Wire and hook
- A bumper pads to protect the walls from any marks or scratches. And also to stop the gallery wrapped canvas frames from sliding and keep them level.

I ordered a large canvas print taken on a recent cross country trip and the final product exceeded any expectations that I had. The print looks amazing and I could not be happier with it. The staff were great to work with and even called to discusses a minor change to sizing that they thought would make the picture look better. I am looking forward to dealing with them again in the future.
Excellent service and the finished product exceeded my expectations! Germotte’s took a low resolution digital photo and was able to ?add pixels to create an 8x12” canvas on 1.5” depth. It joins other prints and photos on Canvas but this one ( first time using Germotte’s) really stands out. I will certainly tap into your expertise in the future and recommend you to my friends.
